Bloody Hell

A* for Psych.
I couldn’t believe it. I sometimes still can’t believe it.
I honestly thought I didn’t do too well for Unit 4 -  especially when I was talking about the psychology of self-deception and human memory for my Anomalistic Psych portion - but it turns out the examiners liked what I wrote! :)
1 A* down. Another 4 to go.
And I scored a 98 for Unit 3 for Literature! A NINETY-EIGHT. I had to slap myself to make sure I wasn’t sleeping. Everyone knows how I flunked DoM during the mock-exam, so I was really surprised by my score. One more unit to go! And if I get >90, that’s another A*!
Plus, I got an A for Critical Thinking - 194. So, I’m going to take the A2 in June, and hopefully I can get another A* in that.
French and Classics are in May/June, but I’m taking French Oral really soon (end of the month, just before break), so I really gotta do well for those.
And I’ve got a lot to catch up on for Chemistry. I really don’t know what I was thinking - approaching Mr Horsfield and asking if I could take an AS in Chem, even though I completely lost touch with the subject after coming back from UWCSEA in Singapore. He helped me out a lot though, and I think I may just be able to get an A for the AS. I hope.
Grandma made her banoffee pie to celebrate, and Steph made a bowl of Strawberry ice-cream to go with it. I really do love my family :) We use food to celebrate, haha. And Althea sent me an ecard to congratulate me, complete with a long video (like what I do to encourage her, except now she’s using it to congratulate me).
Right, gotta start working on some of the Chemistry work. I’ve got a 3 hour lesson tomorrow. This is what happens when you take an AS in your U6 year and your U6 Classics and Lit classes clashes with the regular L6 AS Chem class. Since I’ve got no more Psychology classes, I’m having Chem there instead. Rob and Alex help me out too, since they both scored As for their Chem AS.
Cheerio, then. :)
